I see slot of bull crap on YouTube and google of people claiming to run unreal times at track just wondering to see were my car stacks up what kind of times do some of get with stock to mild mustangs plz list your 1/4 ,1/8, trap speed. Cause I run 1/8 at my local track I have sn95 5speed 3.73 gear k-n air filter and dynomax bullits and some DIY weight reduction I ran a 9.59 @72 with a 2.2 60 foot my local track is only 1/8. I suspect my car may have mild cam does the times match up cause I hear the sn95 usually go 10.0's just wondering thanks alot for any input.

 

I have a 2001 GT. Auto, ford racing 4:10 gears, mac longtube headers, offroad prochamber mid pipe, bassani catback, eibach pro kit, mac cold air, nitto nt05 tires, dyno tune. My best 1/4 is 13.901@ 100. 2.035 60'. 1/8 is 8.98@ 79.63. Look it up on youtube under: c5z06 vs mustang gt.

 

Yea my 60 is what I gotta get better I was runnin on some wore out Dunlop dz101 but I'm buying some wheels n tires to try n get a similar 60 as you. Il look up the video also thanks alot.

 

just for comparisons sake 35 years ago my stock 440 six pac super bee would go 9:35 in the 1/8 th .. which i thought was slow ..i dont remember speed or 60 ft times .. you guys get those 60 footers down to 1.7 or so and you`ll be booking ..

 

Yea I'd have to get slicks for that kinda 60 not sure how much of that my 8.8 or clutch would handle lol. But yea shootin for 1.9-2.0 with some good street n strip tires. So do you have any cars now you race?

Oh ok I'm just trying to get a mid 8 sec car on street tires, I gotta lot of mods to due this winter but I wanna be criusing town in the same trim as the track and pick on some other v8's on the street cause most are only workin with cai,gear,mufflers. (Preferably Chevys lol)

My 2004 Automatic Mach1 ran bone stock consistantly 9.0 in 1/8,after removing 3.55s to 4.10s I went to 8.7, after stall converter and drag radials I ran 8.23,
Now my 2012 Boss with drag radials runs 7.94 @88mph in 1/8th
I ran my Mach1 bone stock against a 99GT with pullies, 4.10s, cai, auto with a shift kit he ran a 8.7 to my 9.0..

That's some good numbers Mach 1's are fast and to the new boss that's crazy. My friend has new 5.0 with et streets suspension and longt tubes and cai and tune and runs mid 11 I'm 1/2 he just purchased a blower last week so he will be in tens with a street car the new 5.0 is crazy
