That reminded me of my daughter. She is 3 and thinks she's a cat. I hear "meow" constantly all day, err day.

I'll get rid of the confusion ...the x pipe provides more power than the H. The x pipe balances out the torque curve while the H pipe is more for sound dynamics. When the exhaust gases pass the opening in the X this creates a low pressure area thus improving scavenging it does however have a lower tone than the h-pipe. The 90* turn the exhuast gases make for the cross over in the H pipe are more designed for sound vs performance.

one of the best X pipes out there are the Dr.Gas X pipe and Kooks. I don't like BBk anything but that is just me.

if youre looking for good sound, i have a friend with a 2000 GT with straight pipes after the cats, the thing is so loud but sounds killer.

Bassani makes decent stuff but the Dr. Gas pipe is one of the best designed pipes so it woud still be at the top of my list, look them up and take a look at the design of the X.

Personally I like the sound of the x but its all in the owners opinion. Both sound good but as stated before the x has that lower tone and a little more rasp. I wouldn't go for a straight pipe with the cats still on. I know of one that way and it just doesn't sound that impressive. Cats quiet it down tremendously. Cut em off run you a o/r x pipe with flows an it'll sound so good you'll have to roll the Windows down to make room for your erection haha

98 cobra bassani x pipe no cats. Flowmaster black super 40. U ever herd yours without cats. Wanted to know what sounded better cat or no cats. Sound clips anyone.don't know if it's worth 350 for them only if it has a sound difference. No cats has a little rasp. Sounds mean try to get video.
