Ok,
Now I got my Stang, I have 2 cars...my daily driver and my weekend car. Are there any companies that produce good car covers that will protect from sun and rain. The tree I'm parking under produces some shade and a lot of sap, and after 1 day I'm already noticing it.
Even if it's a little pricey, I'd be willing to listen, to protect it from the Texas sun and tree sap. Thanks guys.

well the owner that i bought my car from threw in the cover for free...its a really nice one. said he paid $300 for it since it was a custom one from california car covers. do a google search and im sure you can find them...
$300 is a little steep but i have nothing but good things to say about my cover

On the other hand if you came straight home from the car wash, or just finished a driveway wash; then that excess water is trapped underneath the tarp not allowing it to escape. This creates a nasty little atmosphere, and the water mildews and is in constant contact with the paint causing mildew on the paint.
Or so I'm told.

You'd want to place a clean car under the tarp, if not then dirt is trapped underneath, and the dirt begins to grind against the paint.

Got my car cover today......I'm happy with it so far, however I am not please with the fact that it does not come with an antenna cutout. The thing is designed for GT/Cobras, but doesn't make an antenna cut-out.
I put on the car cover and punched a hole in the car cover with a Phillips screw driver for the antenna. Pulled the cover taut, and the antenna was bending. So guess what........new hole punch.
Well that happened a few times, and I finally got the sweet spot, but it still was bending. Decided to make the hole a little bigger, so now a have about a 4-5 inch hole for an antenna. Oh well.......the tree sap and bird crap was affecting the driver side, so it won't be too much of an issue.
I might order one early next year, if the material tears. I'll keep y'all informed. I believe the brand was WOLF, and it has that "Kelley...whatever breathable fabric."
