Broken Clutch Cable

I was out driving around tonight and I was shifting from 3rd to 4th and my cable snapped and my pedal just flopped. Is there a certain brand I should get to replace it? Is it difficult to replace? Any other advice for this situation?

OEM Ford is the best, it has proven itself over time. while it isn't the cheapest it lasts, isn't has prone to stretching or noise like most replacement cables that cost less. it isn't hard to repalce at all. there is a how to in the fox section in our "tech" sticky. It is pretty much the same steps up to '04. The key is to make sure you remeber how the it is routed ( take pics if needed) lots of times people pull the old cable out then forget how the cable routed through the engine bay and under the motor, proper routing aids in how the cable operates.

Can the OEM cable be used with everything else being stock or do I need to buy additional parts?
