Or you don't worry about it and start a thread cuz your "brakes" are making noise

Thats the good thing about mess ups...... You learn lessons!!! Rule of thumb i go by tho is any brake job i do, i have the rotors turned or buy new rotors, and go with pads from the ford dealership! Always seems to work great everytime.... Oh yea and make sure thos lug nuts are tight! Lol! J/k

Ok update to this. I originally thought the problem was cured but... It isn't. Now with the wheels on tighter it seems to take a longer time before it will start to make the noise. Today was the first time I had really drove the car in a while. So after about 15 min or so of driving and heating up the brakes the noise and vibration are back with a vengance. I went to get some rotors. I told the guy autozone where I was getting the rotors about the problem. I asked him to look up the pads I had bought less than a month ago off the warranty info I filled out. I just wanted to make sure I had the right part. I did. I told him I would buy the rotors and he said when I pull the rotors off bring the pads back and he will give me new ones under warranty so I could start with fresh pads and rotors. Gonna put it all together here in a while. Hopefully this will fix it.

Just getting the rotors turned probably would've been cheaper, but hopefully the new rotors will finally get things fixed.

Hopefully gone for good. So 2 lessons learned...Always make sure everything is tight, and always turn/replace your rotors.

Side question...Any issues getting new pads? I've heard about the lifetime warranty on brake pads, but it just doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah unfortunatly the first lesson should have been a given. Oh well. Honestly I had no issues with the warranty. Actually the autozone employee suggested they replace the pads cuz I had only bought them a month ago. I know that they say they have a lifetime warranty but I don't know if they actually honor it down the road. Your right a lifetime warranty on a wearable part doesn't make sense. I wonder if they mean they will be free of defects for life, not that they won't wear out. Or they just bank on no one bringing in their worn brake pads with the box and receipt in a year when they are worn.

That's cool that he suggested it. But I can't understand free lifetime replacements on a consumable part. Free from defects, yes...but not just wear. Or it could be just like you said...Hell, I already threw away my boxes and receipt. lol. My original pads lasted 7 years. I'm ok with buying more in a few years.
