Yes i was thinking the same im kind of leaning towards Flowmaster but not positive in the mean time i was thinking about doing cold air intake. Do you have any ideas on exhaust. I want to have a nice mean sound of course but nothing over the top you know a nice sound on start up and a nice sound you can still hear when idle and driving. Thanks again please if you have any ideas feel free to comment

I would go with a high flo cat pipe with say flowmaster or mac mufflers! I had an o/r x on my 02 with mac pro chamber mufflers and it was very loud and raspy

This might sound like a stupid question but if i was to just buy the Flowmaster delta 40 mufflers will it even make a difference and can i keep everything else with just changing mufflers? Obviously i would have to buy two since it is dual exhaust right? Sorry for the stupid questions im 17 and just got my GT. Thanks again..the link for the delta 40 is below.

Yes you can just buy the catback system. As stated earlier, check out american muscles websites

You can have the new mufflers welded in, which is what I did. Looking back though I wish I would have done a full catback...

Yea thats what i am afraid to do so im thinking it might be best to do a full. For a full catback do you have any recommendations which exhaust to pick because ive yet to find the full delta 40 as a full catback

Welcome to TMS and Congratulations on the 03' GT! The 2V motor is really cool and definitely reacts well to modification. I would probably start with a CAI, Exhaust and a Tune! That will get the air flowing and rumble going and the Tune will let the car know whats going on and increase Power, Acceleration, Throttle response, Fuel economy and much more.

This is just a few suggestions. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of any assistance! Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

I would recommend getting AmericanMuscles gear and tuner combo, best mod ever that you'll definitely feel.

Automatic or stick? I would say first mod should be some aftermarket gears and a tuner.
