if you are planning on doing other mods than the bbk 78mm would be a good start. You would not need larger injectors at this point, you may not notice any gain in power with just the bbk but it is something you would want in the future with other mods.

the stock 19lbs/hr injectors should be good up to around 290-300rwhp and it takes quite a lot of mods for a 2v to put that down.

Its more like a supporting mod. Its not going to really give you any gains on a shock engine, but as you get more heavily modded, it will more and more come into play.

That being said, until you get more modded, there's not reason to get it.

I dont think its a waste of money, its actually a great deal since you are able to upgrade the throttle body and intake plenum all in one rather than buying them separate. I'm just saying dont expect a huge gain until you start getting other parts.

If you can afford to do exhaust at the same time you will feel a noticeable gain. Offroad x-pipe really helped my 99 gt.

You might be alittle sluggy off the start but there will be little higher end gains.

I installed the 78 and it runs strong in all ranges with cai, exhaust and tune Had tune done a couple years ago. Installed 78 last year and it runs perfectly without another tune.

The throttle response improvement was huge and car runs great in all temps.

I recommend it.
