98 cobra imc problem
You getting the check engine light for it? Worst case scenario the control module is faulty which is expensive if I recall.
It's not uncommon for the 2nd set of intake valves to get caked due to not having a fuel injector before it to blast em off.
Here's the cleaning how to that I printed off a while back. http://www.svtmustangcobraclub.com/m...C_Cleaning.pdf
I had always planned on doing it as mine would throw the code every once in a while, but just haven't ever gotten around to it. Hope this help!

what kind of modifications do you have?
Modular Mustang Racing www.modularmustangracing.com sells an IMRC delete kit.
All billet, awesome. Used them on my engine build. Im sure I lost a little down low, but with my gearing ill never feel it. And is a definite need for top end power.
96-98 Cobra / Lincoln Mark 8 IMRC Deletes
These Billet Aluminum plates from MMR delete the factory plastic or cast aluminum IMRC (intake manifold runner control) which can cause an airflow restriction and a loss of HP along with "gunking" up the port without the injector which leads to valve guide wear, smoking and oil usage. The plates can be ported and are great for all naturally aspirated and supercharged applications with big HP gains in the upper RPM level. Direct bolt on!
