Under full throttle how does yours pull and shift? Mine pulls gently through first and then when she shifts to second it is literally like someone has kicked her in the astroboy, a sudden intense thump and kick forward and away we go. I swear it feels like she pulls harder in second than in first.

It may be time for a fluid flush or something on your tranny. I am guessing you have an AOD-E since its a 95. I'm not as familiar with those as the 4r70w in 99+ cars, but it should still pull hard through first, unless you are spinning

could be gear ratios, I know that the 5.0 Foxes with T-5s pulled harder in second gear. Has the car always been like this? What about you other 5.0-aode owners?

just got an 03. the 95 is long since passed. actually i was told today that the long drag through first is caused by the fact that the previous owner cut the back cats off. any truth to this?
