Adding Power Cheap

Suggestions on best cheap and easy ways to add power to a 2004 V-6.

I am thinking K&N Fresh Air Intake, Steeda Underdrive Pulley Kit to start.

What I am reading suggests roughly a 16 HP bump for those two....does that sound right? Any other suggestions? (I know...dual exhuast ).

Thanks.

syn oil for everything. 35lbs in the tires. Remove spare tire and any thing that might add weight. keep it waxed. Increse following distance. Try and time the lights so you don't have to stop.

Dual Magnaflow Exhaust, MAC CAI, SCT tune. Not exactly cheap to do this but it will increase the horsepower.

Hey glenn....those are all suggestions for increasing fuel milage....How is increasing following distance and timing stoplights going to gain him HP?

Removing wieght will make the car quicker I suppose...
