Adding Fog Lights

Just bought a 96 GT with factory 248A Option Package. The option package was only available for 1996 and was similar to the GTS model in 95. This package deleted the rear wing, fog lights, pw, pl and power driver seat. I want to add the fog lights and found what appears to be wiring to support just adding the lights and plugging them in. I'm hoping the wiring harness will support adding a factory switch to the factory console location (but I have not removed the console yet to confirm the wiring is there).
Has anyone come across this situation and know if this will work or is some other piece of the system missing since the fog lights were never installed at the factory?
Any help/insight would be appreciated!

From what I understand, all the wiring is there already. All you have to do is buy the foglights and the factory switch. Never done this myself, but I am sure I have heard this to be true.
I looked at a car just like the one you bought at my local Ford dealer the other day. It was a Red 96 with only 15,000 miles on it! Dealer installed a wing though. :notnice: I like them better without it.

Fog lights are abundant and yes the wiring should be there. Check this link out for fogs:

50 resto can also send you a free magazine you just have to fill out the info on their site. They are very helpful. I bought a replacement fog light from them a year ago for my 87.
