95 Mustang GT ignition problem
Ok so heres the situation, my freinds 95 mustang gt is having ignition problems, actually this is wat he told me "ive been havin ignition problems and that today i went to turn it on and it just cranked then when i took the key out it was still crankin and i neeeded to unhook the battery".
I thought of a few things and cant really determine wat is exactly wrong so if anyone has any suggestions let us know, thank you.

yes it could be the starter relay[it's located in the engine compartment fuse box] or the starter solenoid on the starter could be stuck. if it is still doing it tap on either one while it's cranking and see if it stops. hope it helps.

Is changing out the ignition switch difficult? Can you use the same key or need to get new ones? Can you get a new switch at the auto parts store or need to go through Ford. Just bought a '94 Cobra and we are thinking we will need to change it out.

Sounds like the solenoid switch to me fordsvt2006...
Are you asking about the lock cylinder or the switch creedog? The switch is located on the column, and yes you would be able to use the same key. If you need to have the cylinder replaced it is a snipe, and a competent lock smith can move the tumbers around so that you can use the same key.
