I saw a 35th Anniversary Mustang, and on the side emblem, the pony was running to the right. Did the factory make it that way?

The Mustangs SHOULD always be running towards the front of the car, but I saw a 99 at the Pensacola show a few years ago with the pony running towards the rear of the car on the passenger side. I mentioned it to the owner, who never noticed it. Said it came from the factory that way. Must have been made at the end of a shift. Oops.

Also, notice that the fender Cobras are looking to the rear of the car on the driver side. Maybe they only made one emblem for both sides. (Not sure if it's that way on all Cobras, but I have seen a lot of them that way.)
