2001 Bullitt Air Filter Seals

Hi Everybody I have a 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt, and it has a KN Filter on it, and the seals some how were deformed and damaged. I found this after removing it to inspect it after I bought the car. I suspect somebody got carried away with Carb Cleaner and got it on the neoprene gaskets and ruined them, but that's just a guess.

The Question is where can I get new gaskets for this? Also would the foam/neoprene gaskets be a Ford Part or a K&N Part? When I bought the car it already had this filter on it, and I'd like to be able to salvage it if I can because it looks to be in good condition, but those gaskets are ruined I'm afraid.

I really need to get this fixed because I cannot drive the car until I get that back on and there's no use putting it back with the ruined gaskets as there will be leaks there and I don't want that engine huffing up any trash or even worse running sensor behind that screen.

I'd appreciate any help you could provide.

Well, I found out about this, and with 69 views and no responses I figured I better post the details.

The K&N Filter Gaskets for a 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt are a K&N Part only. I've got caught on the Holiday Weekend and will call them up this coming Tuesday and see if I can get those shipped to me. I read a comment on the item on their website where another person had torn up gaskets and had got them, so I don't see where this will be a problem.

Hope this helps somebody who may have the same issue.
