1995 with idle and stalling issues

IVe got 1995 5.0 5 speed and my idle has gotten worse over last yr it will idle low around 500rpm and stumble and shake and occasionally stall.recently even driving if I stop quick it will idle down and die and lately hard starting. I cleaned iac valve and set tps sensor to 0.98 volts it's not stalling or hard starting yet but still idles low and choppy, how long will it take my computer to fully adapt to new settings and does anyone else have some suggestions to why it still idles so low like it wants to die? I've also previously tried to set idle screw higher and didn't seem to help.

1. Don't adjust the idle screw.
2. Did you clear the KAM?

Keep alive memory. Disconnect the battery. After about a minute or so, touch both battery cables together while still disconnected. Hook it back up after. Start it and let it find it's idle. It has to relearn it after. It may hunt for an idle for a few minutes since the learned memory has been erased.

Once again thanks alot il try that. What about my idle goin up and not being as choppy with my maf unplugged, u think it's my maf sensor or could it be from something else?

The MAF may be working correctly but the iac and PCM aren't reading it right. I would do the reset with the battery and go from there. When you unplug the MAF, the pcm goes to preset values to protect the engine and quits reading air flow.

Well I did that and it seemed to help a slight bit after several minutes of surging it kinda held at 550 rpm which still seems low. But now i bought new spark plugs and they were pre gapped for my car and the old plugs looked like a Lil bigger gap now my car is runnin worse and barely started. Is there any reason why my car would need gapped bigger than original specs?? Plz helpe out I'm gettin real frustrated and I did one plug at time no chance for wrong plug wires attached to wrong plugs. It seemed to not miss at 3000rpm steady but holding throttle to 2000 it's stumbling every two seconds.
