1994 Color Combo
Newbie here...I came over from mustangexhaust.com....anyway I was hoping someone out there could help me in finding some numbers on my car. I have a 1994 mustang GT- white on red/black interior. I was wondering if it was a low production combo. As far as I have been able to find I THINK you could only get white on red/black in 1994 & 95. I wondering if its worth keeping or trading up to a MACH 1 or COBRA

Welcome!....I don't know man.....but I can think of 390 reasons to get a Cobra

Is 94 with white/red scarce?
I don't have numbers for this combo but I do know whick color interiors were available with crystal white exterior-bright red, saddle, opal grey, and black.I have a 95 the same color combo and I've always liked the way it looks, but mine is for sale also since getting a Vista Blue 2007 GT.

Red interior is indeed rare. because its so special Ive given it a special home: http://nikiatkins.com/mustang/red under "Red on the Inside." It only came availible on Rio Red Crystal White, Opal Frost and Black mustangs during 1994 and 95. The official name of the interior is Bright Red.
This interior could only be ordered by fleet companies. Theres a good chance that your car may have been a rental. Carfax should tell you. As rare as this interior is, note that there were 3 versions: V6 cloth, GT cloth, and GT leather. Now then, they had to make a coupe and convertible version 3x2=6 Of those, they had to have a power window version, and a manual version. 3x2x2=12. Twelve viariations of an already rare interior.
Keep the car you have because it may be worth just as much as a cobra someday... ...with time, I wonder how much my v6 with red interior will be worth.
I wish I had production numbers but I dont... ...there usta be a guy who could tell you exactly (vehicle specific) but not only would he not do v6s (claimed there were too many) but I think his site no longer exists.
Maybe he still uses that email. whatever info you get, please share with us all... ...there are a lot of red interior owners wanting to know... ...and BTW ford wont tell you... ...I checked.

I got this figure from Stewart Jones (Thrdgenreg@aol.com) of the Third Generation National Registry. For $10, he'll send ya the info I mentioned plus a few other facts about your car printed up on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of photo paper (all based off of your VIN #). Drop him a line to see if he still does this (I got my info way back in 2000).

Well theres a pic of the GT cloth version on the site linked, and then theres pics of mine on http://nikiatkins.com/mustang under "interior" and past pics, but mines been modified a bunch.

The v6 seats were absolutely horrible! no side bolsters, super flat, and the cloth is completely different fron the gts... ...they were red with black spots all over it so from 3 feet away it looked maroon and didnt match, and if you left it exposed to the sun too long, it turned pink!
I dont think the value on such vehicles will skyrocket... ...especially with no actual production numbers availible... ...I just know that when they talk about classics they brings up such special features... ...especially at auction. Like a v6 may sell more if a v8 was dropped into it, but the same vehicle may get a couple hundred more knowing that it truley came with something that special.
There are tons of mustang owners that have no clue that this interior option exist, I freak people out at shows, especially big mustang events. I even have to display a special sign explaining how "factory" it is... ...how thats NOT aftermarket
