01 GT Instrument Cluster Swap

Hey all,
Just wondering if there was anyone out there who has swapped their original instrument cluster with a lunar faced cluster, and if so, was the original mileage from the car transferred or did it reset the cluster to "0"?I've got 78k on my ticker and want a change.
Thanks, Dan

The mileage is recorded on the internal computer, so when you install the new guages, and plug into the computer, the mileage readings should remain intact.

i know this is an old topic but i swapped my factory cluster in my 02 with a 03 Mach 1 cluster. i have silver accents in my interior so i decided on it. i also i like the retro styled numbers. i couldnt just swap clusters though..i just swapped the clear board with the gauges and mileage display..it went together easy though...picked it up for 100 bucks on ebay...
