The same could be same for any year there was a major makeover. I personally like the new body style, my choice came down to economics, it was cheaper for me to purchase the '03 Mach 1 because of the 0% financing for 72mo. The '04's were not offering that. Now you're probably wondering, but you have an '04 now, right you are, Ford bought back my '03(mechanical problem and prior body and paint work) and I got to keep my original loan.

I really need a new car right now, and since I've been into Mustangs for many years but just never owned one, I figured it was that time to finially break down and spoil myself.

The thing is, I want the cobra, but there are none for sale in my area. From a dealership or private party. I'd want to get the cobra b/c of the s/c. On the Mach, I'd have to get a completely new intake system and hood if I wanted the cobra s/c. I just think that getting the Mach will limit my options for aftermarket parts. But, I could always go for the GT then upgrade it to Cobra, but that'll probably be more expensive now, since everyone with a GT is doing that.
