I was coming home from Orlando last night and got in a high-speed tag match coming across the Howard Frankland bridge. I was running even with another car and one of those construction barrels appeared in my headlights just a second before I was on top of it.(It was laying in the middle of the road) Somehow I slipped in-between it and the barrels on the side of the road.
It all happened so fast and a minute later I noticed my hands were shaking. I don't think I could do that again if I tried. Thank you Ford for the most awesome handling Cobra I've ever driven!

while we dont condone street racing, props to you for having the driving skills to avoid a bad situation. Its funny how things like that become a reflex action instead of you having to think about it before.

Scott, I give the car most of the credit and would say luck carried me through the rest. I'm not much of a driver but with a car like this you obviously don't have to be that good!

your at least good enough to not overpower it while performing a manuever like that and not break the rear end loose and do a good 360° into a guard rail. Your average joe couldnt do that if I had my guesses.

I'm just glad I didn't stand on the brakes which is what my initial reaction was. I would have sworn there wasn't enough room to squeeze between those barrels. I don't know what rubber construction barrels bouncing off the front end of your ride at 85mph sounds like but that's what I was waiting to hear. Thanks for the vote of confidence on my driving skills guys! I'm still leaning towards luck and the awesome car I was driving.

Self confidence and average speed skills is a good foundation but hardly transalate to a probable, positive outcome on an uncontrolled enviroment. A high speed tutoring course can change one's perspective of the realitiy of such probabilities.
Glad you came out OK.

You are right about that, DUDE.

You can bet your next blown tire on it.
