White Face Gauges

I'm interested in getting some white face gauges for my 04 v6. I've seen some overlays for sale a lot cheaper than replacing the entire gauge cluster and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts/comments on them?

Thanks!

I think I actually like those better. Look like it would be easier to install and you can't be the price! Thanks for the link.

Have y'all seen any that might light up red? My cars theme is black and red.

I saw some black gauges that lit up red and white but couldn't tell you where I saw them. Sorry man.

I had these gauges installed and during the day they look sweet but I'm kinda disappointed by the look at night. Probably going to switch back to oem gauges.

Which ones did you get? And what is the problem with them? Want to make sure before I buy them.

I installed the bbk speedware gauges and the issue is the lighting at night. It's uneven and I dont paticularly care for the light color either. They look sweet during the day and help with the dark window tint I have on my front windows which make reading the stock black gauges a pita.

Replace the lights in the guage cluster to super bright white leds. They will make the gauges clearer.

I think I'm actually going to buy a new gauge overlay. I found a website blackcatcustom.com and want to order a new set of white face gauges with blue lighting and get the same for the hvac controls. It would match the iPod receiver I have which lights up blue :-) now I just need to save the money to get them. It's the holidays and I'm feeling a bit poor at the moment.

Ok that looks pretty sweet and is the look I'm going for. Does anyone know if the standard black gauge overlays are available at the dealer? I accidentally tore part of it when I swapped them out for the white gauges. Haven't seen anything where I can purchase them independent of the entire assembly.

I think you have to buy the whole cluster, but I'm not 100% on that.
