I'm 18 now and not into racing as much as I used to be, but I've always wondered something's since I was around 16. What's a car to stay away from (racing wise)? When I say a car, I mean like a car that is common with other teens. (Ex: v6's max, no supras, you get the point...) I have a 99 v6 mustang and it's faster than my friends mustang even when it was stock (his is an 03) right now it's running Around 230-240 HP and idk how much torque. I see sports cars with teens in them and I always kinda wonder if it could hang with me or not. Some cars to stay away from would be nice thanks!!

 

I know what your saying lol. I took on a iroc-z camaro in my v6 and beat him. Was kinda surprised, I was able to keep up with a Mercedes Benz not sure what kind tho...

 

Stay away from cobras

 

Any gt's. 99+
2010+ v6 mustang's
Any v8 transam or Camaro.


I'm trying to think of what cars are in my school parking lot, alot of them are sn95 v6's.

 

Anything with SVT SRT AMG SLP on it
Any beamer with an m on the trunk
Late 90s rx7's
Anything that says mazdaspeed
.... Wait we are talking about high school cars

Some fox bodies you will need to be careful of but most you will be fine unless it looks super nice

The new hyudai genesis coupes are pretty quick
Some tiburons
S2000's
But in all reality a lot of it is the driver tho
Especially when dealing with younger cats that don't have hours an hours under their belts

With an unmodded V6, just about everything. It sucks but is true.

 

what are your modifications? 230-240hp is good for a sn95 v6....
