Strange Electrical Problem? Please Help

Mustang, '00 V6 here.

I'm experiencing a strange electrical problem I think. Every 1 in 20 starts it seems like the fuel pump is dead. The battery is strong, it cranks but won't turn over. The lights on the dash go dim or flicker, the hazard lights are dead and the electric trunk opener is dead. The radio is good, the headlights still work. If I let it sit for 10-20 mins, everything is fine, it starts up, no problems.

The problem has been getting worse and it starting to happen now when I first pull out of the driveway which is scary.

Has anyone heard of this before?

Have the battery tested for a dead cell. It may not be the problem but a dead cell issue will still allow you to bring up the lights, dash lights...very dim,but not enough current to start the car. Check your battery post for corrosion, that will also effect the amount of current flow.Sometimes the inside of a battery cable may have enough corrosion that you can't see,can effect current flow through the system. That corrosion is just enough added resistance to effect/conduct good current flow.
