starting problems

I have an 01 with 125k on it. We bought it running an driving needing a little work. The last time it ran we drove it to oreillys to see if their scanner could tell what was causing the miss. The only code it threw was coil was bad. Put 2 new coils on it but wouldn't crank with them, put the original back on and it fired up. We go to drive it back home an there was barely any power. At one point it was like everything was right an had plenty of power but it was short lived. The rest of the ride had to be done in first gear an barely pulled. Now it won't crank. Getting plenty of fuel pressure an everything but we have no idea where to go from here. Any help would be great

Timing hasn't been checked yet which was something that'd crossed my mind. I had thought about clogged cats to but that shouldn't keep it from cranking should it?

Good point. Just haven't ever heard of it keeping from crankin. I guess it could if it was bad enough. I hope it is just a bad clog though. That'd be a quick easy fix

Loose ground. Dirty injectors. Lack of changing the spark plugs. Bad gas. Bad crank sensor. Bad can position sensors. And even a bad coolant sensor.

You mean the engine doesn't turn at all? Or just won't fire as you try to start?

There was another thread a bit ago where the guy double checked and sure enough the crank sensor wasn't connected.

See I thought it turned over but would not start, but your saying it won't crank which means it will not turn over.
