Rough Runner

Howdy all. Got a question

I have a T-Bird, 1996, with the 3.8L V6.

It's been acting weird. it starts fine, no problems.

it runs fine all day.

but turn the thing off, wait about 10 minutes? (haven't actually tried to time it, but that will do)

start it up... rough, missing, beast.

If I let it sit like that... maybe rev to 2k for a bit...then shut it down... wait about a minute. Try again... repeat until it quits.

After it quits, it's fine.

So... What the heck is that anyway?

Thanks in advance. I know it's not a mustang... but I'm trying to get that ASAP. if this money pit can stop sucking dollars away... sigh.

No. Never has. Well, except for this Sunday, but a hose blew at 3pm. It didn't overheat then either as I caught it immediately.

For some reason, though, after I put some water in it... a freeze plug also let go... man, it was Weird.

But it's never overheated in it's life... with me... for the past 2.5 years...

According to that gauge...
