Phantom voltage problem

I have an 02 mustang with a V6 and the last couple of days I've been receiving an intermittent voltage light popping up on the dash. I went a head and replaced the alternator and it did not solve the issue. I took it to my mechanic today and they tried a new battery and checked all the wiring from the alternator and battery and tested the voltage output of the alternator with the car running. They saw nothing that was causing it right off hand and said it could be some loose wiring or connectors in the dash or maybe something in the PCM. I am running a stereo system off of the alternator but I have an inline capacitor to help it out. I'm running aftermarket Raxiom CCFL headlights and tailights on the car plus aftermarket fog lights and led strip lights tied not the fog lights just for looks. Any ideas on what could be happening here??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Have you checked your alternator circuit grounds. Also corrosion between alt. bracket and alternator is possible I guess.
