Does anyone by any chance know how to remove the passenger air bag on the 94-04 stangs? I know youve got to remove the glove compartment, but whats the procedure after? Ive looked all over the net for instructions on how to do this, but have found nothing. any help would be appreciated

Chris, make sure you disconnect the battery and leave the car alone for 15 mins, you do not want that thing going off in your face......

Out of interest, why do you want to remove it?

My car doesnt have the passenger air bag and im going to remove one from another car and install it on mine. im not going to connect it just yet, until I know the sensors on my car are still good and work properly though. Basically, I just want to know how to take it out from the other car.

I see, fair enough then! Unfortunately, I do not know how to remove one, does the haynes manual not have instructions in it? I thought they do a complete strip down and rebuild, so it should be covered.

It probably should. Ill probably go buy the manual sometime this week, although I do have a hint as to how the airbag may be removed. Thanks for the heads up on disconnecting the battery though, might come in handy.
