Odometer not working!!!

I've got a 98' 3.8L mustang and my odometer's just stopped working, I reset it to zero and it didn't do anything. Any ideas on where to start?

Its the gears in the speedo. LRS has them and it takes all of 3 min to change. Just recently had to do it in my 95.

I'm assuming its mechanical and not the electronic one however.

I wouldn't do anything. Leave it broken for a while. Keep the mileage down. Lol
