Diesels have that issue because the nitrous is so cold it delays the fuel ignition. Can blow turbos with nitrous on a diesel

That's a really impressive video. Looks like he's running a 100 shot. And on a basically stock motor. Just shows you what is possible with a good suspension, tires, and a little bit of power.

Nitrous acts a secondary fuel to help burn the fuel in the cylinders more completely. It has a lower combustion heat then gasoline so it ignites faster helping to burn the gasoline.

Propane does the same thing on diesels. Nitrous is bad for diesels so they have a problem with it combusting to quick.

Nitrous by itself isn't flammable. If i remember correctly. That's why the bottles don't have a flammable sticker on them. But when mixed with air and fuel it can burn to an extent.

Its not. Its considered an oxidizer.Basically during combustion, the Nitrogen and the Oxygen atoms split and the Oxygen then reacts with the gasoline during combustion.
