I believe the front and rear speakers are 6x8. I know that's what the are on the 99-04...pretty sure the 94-98 are the same. Most 5x7 speakers will work without an adapter too.

I have a 95 3.8..Have full dual exhaust headers cats eldlebrock pro series mufflers..Kenny Brown sub-frame braces and strut tower brace..Classic Industries leather interior..I have received many compliments on the sound...And K&N Air filter..Power is decent..Looking to get bigger throttle body and underdrive pulleys..

 

Its for turbos! So you can build Max boost on launch. So you wont have any Turbo lag.

i also remember reading somewhere that there is a specific aerostar intake manifold that bolts onto the stock 3.8. you also might want to look at finding the top end parts (and maybe headers, not entirely sure) off of a 99-04 v6. your 33.8 only has around 145hp but im pretty sure the later ones were around 190. you can probably pick up the parts cheap off craigslist or a local forum

for added driver fun i also highly recommend getting an aftermarket shifter. I have a steeda triax in mine and it changes the whole way the car feels. enjoy your stang and post some pics

 

You can also use a crank and such from a ranger and stroke it to a 4.2 if I remember correctly. SSM is a great place for the sixers
