New Lenses

So the UPS guy has been like Santa Claus to me the past two days....

He delivered my new headlight lenses....I got the smoked version...I LOVE them much more than the stock ones...take a look and again, sorry for the dirty car! (The heat index was something like 100 today....and big time T-storms rolling in! No washing today!)

Sweet. I had forgotten that those clear ones were stock in 2000. By 2004 the smoked headlights were stock....it does look MUCH better. \

Congrats!!!

Thanks! Not only was I not pleased with the clear lenses, but they were starting to fog over...good reason to replace them!

I couldn't be more happy with them!

Thanks, I was gonna buy your cars twin, but the day I went to get her some guy that goes to school with me bought it. I'll post some more pictures of it Saturday when I have time to get her all nice and clean. If you dont mind me asking, how much did the X-Cal II cost you?

Cool! I wasn't too sure about the color until I went and looked at it....and I fell in love with it! The next Mustang I get will probably be Vista Blue, assuming it's offered then....that's not going to be for a few more years, though.

The X-Cal was $409.00 with shipping. I just ordered it this morning, so I'm not really sure when I'm going to get it (my shipping through the bamachips.com site showed flat rate shipping, so I'm not sure what mode it's coming). I can't wait though!

You're absolutely right. This has been near the top of a long list of things I've wanted to do to my girl since I got her. Next, I think, is going to be a "true" dual exhaust system for me.

Yep those smokies really make a difference. Would have changed mine but it came with them anyway in 02.
Looks like our Xcals are due to be delivered a day apart. Out of curiosity what tunes did you request? I went perf/torque/race all in 91.

My girl is more of a daily driver, so I went with the 87 Torq/87 Perf/91 Torq. Right now, I'm just looking to make my ride to work more fun and keep my fuel costs as low as possible.

Plus, I figure that if I want to change tunes later to something else, I can just buy them, right?

I have an email out to Doug too, just to see if he has any other input.

Did you get a delivery date on yours? If not, can you let me know when you get yours?

Thanks!
