Gas Mileage

So I love my car and bought it knowing that the gas mileage wasn't great. But I've noticed a sudden drop in mileage the last two tanks of gas. I went from getting about 19 mpg to less than 15. Any ideas? I'm stumped and frankly barely getting 100 miles out of half a tank is killing me.

Keep in mind I do have a lead foot, but a sudden drop like that is kinda odd.

well, more ethanol in fuel = less mileage, so if you changed where you got gas it may be part of it.

Also, change the fuel filter and add a bottle of lucas injector cleaner.

Located in southern California...not real winters here. Haven't changed where I buy gas and have added the fuel injector cleaner. Didn't think of the fuel filter. I know where I can buy one, any advice with changing it?

Sorry never done it in that model but as general FYI it's not hard if you have the fitting tool which is a couple extra bucks.

you will have to get the fitting tool, which is available at autozone or somewhere like that

just search for a DIY guide, and you'll be good to go
