I was wanting to put a grill on the front of my 01 3.8L but wasnt sure how they come. I have seen many with the Pony and many without. I def. want to have the pony. How does this work? Do they all come without the pony and you have to put it on yourself or do some already come with it on. If anyone has any links to sites that sell with the pony i would appreciate it. Thanks

Steeda (www.steeda.com) has the Mach1 styled grille, which comes with the pony without the corral. Not sure what you are looking for specifically, maybe you could clarify.

If so, $75 from this place : Mustang Parts Specialty

Click on the Bumper section and go to the second page. Hope this helps

www.50resto.com also has a Mach 1 grill delete and stock grills too. Shop around and find the best price for you. An aftermarket grill is going to run you less than an OEM grill for the most part.

No I have the stock grill that jgsmuzzy posted. I was wanting to replace it with an aluminum one like this one. But when i contacted they said it does not come with the pony on it.

You can find the pony almost anywhere. 50 resto has kits to attach to all kinds of grills. Call around and see who may be able to give you advice on what product to use.

Bare in mind that the pony on the stock grill is level with the rest of the grill. If you go for the "Billet" grille, your pony will look, well, stick on. Just something to thing about.
Have you thought of the Mach1 grill delete? That looks cool.
