ESSEX V6 3.9 238 (237/232) Which is it?

Ive got an 04 late run V6 after Ford made the switch to the Essex 3.9L OHV and Instead of wishing it were a V8 GT Cobra etc, I figured I'd celebrate the relative uniqueness of the final Generation 4 V6 pre-Duratech with a custom emblem for the left side trunk deck to balance the Ford Logo.

I want to be historically accurate with the information even if no such OEM emblem actually existed. Depending on where I do my research, there are conflicting specs on this engine.

Ford insists it's still a 232 ci but non ford engine gurus have recalculated from the actual geometry and claim it is in really either 237 or 238 ci depending on who you read.

I basically have 3 options: 3.9L (at least all parties agree on this one),
237 or 238. Esthetically the 238 looks better than the 237 but is the 237 more accurate?

The Lettering will be chrome plated and its going on torch red. Any opinions as to which looks better or is most precise? I like both ways myself but am leaning to the lower version with 238

I know I just spent a lot of time on a very minor thing but......
