Help! 04 Mustang 3.9

Hello,

I need help! I have an 04 Mustang 3.9 with about 66000 miles on it. Over the last 2000 miles I have been having a little bit of problems. First, my battery light would flicker on and off, usually at high rpms during 1st-3rd gear. I had the car hooked up to a diagnostics test thinking it could be the alternator, but once tested everything came back normal, including the alternator still charging. So I left it alone and just ignored the light. Now, about a month later, I think I may be having engine problems. When slowing down for a stop I will take it out of gear and it sounds all reved up but the rpms go down to about 1ish because clutch is pushed in. It's not normal sounding at all. The car idles fine though. Any idea of what it could be?? Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

did you use a volt meter to check the alt? how many volts was it kicking out? How many volts does your battery have with out the car running?

Haha thank you! No I guess it was just a code reader machine. Should I try a volt tester??

Seafoam it. It's cheap, easy and may help. Could be the maf or iat sensor. I can't really say for sure without hearing or seeing the problem

What's seafoaming it? Sorry I'm a young girl and idk all these mechanic terms. My bf and I were listening to it today and we have come to the conclusion that the noise is not from the engine, but from the front wheel area, something that is spinning. Possibly bearings??
