So my girlfriend and I are driving down the street, I'm jamming out and she smacks me! "Brian you just hit a bird!!" I'm like no way, I didn't hear it hit or any thing but she was sure it happened! So we drove around for a couple hours thinking maybe it bounced off or went under. Coming out of Subway she bust out laughing pointing at my car. In the area where you put the foglights, which I don't have, the bird is stuck! Its head is lodged in there and its body just laying limp!

I haven't had the guts to take it out yet but I know it has to be done. I'm just not one for bone crushing noises and all. We're thinking of taking it to the wash and having them take it out! I should post a pic of this. It's funny and sad at the same time.

Nah...I find it complety funny! stinks for the bird though. Hey, at least you didn't get a dead rat stuck in your car.....not that it happened to me, but it happened to a friend of mine who got a dead baby rat stuck in the dash of her Cavalier. Don't know how it got there or how it happened, but she noticed it when she turned the A/C on one day in sometime in July and it STUNK SO BAD, she almost puked and got into an accident while driving. The Chevy dealer said that the rat got stuck in one of the vents or something (don't know how it go there?), so they had to pull the entire dash out.

Rats! I was gone to sea (Navy) for 5 months and I came back in an infested car! I didn't find any critters in there but the proof was all over. The fabric that goes over the spare tire (not the actual carpet but the foamy stuff under it) was all chewed up for a nest. My car had a horrible dead animal smell for a month! I found rat poo all in my car and it was just nasty! I never trusted my wife with the Mustang again! haha

Time to rip out the dash. My local dealership told me about how this one guy had 2 dead mice under his dash. Awful smell.

I have a spider problem in my car

I got the bird out no problem the next day. It was stuck in that foglight section and thats pretty flimsy, so easy to move around.
