I just got my first car, a stock 01 V6 Stang, its got 58k miles, red fire metallic. What is the best way to get a big hp increase in a single product for around $600 or under? Thanks!

For that money :

New Exhaust : Exhaust

CAI : CAI

Those 2 will run you about $500. not sure of the power gain, but you will notice it!

Have you thought of changing the rear gears? no power increase, but increases accelleration.

Exhaust. Flowmaster, Bassani, Borla, MAC. There's so many to choose from. Take your pick. I'm sure a couple of these sites have wav. files so you can hear what their exhaust sounds like. That should help you in making a decision. Good luck.

I'd personally go with the Flowmaster since i love its sound on my V6. My friend dallas has the basani mentioned above but i just dont care for it as much

Hey, I noticed that you said you had the Flowmasters on your pony. I am looking at getting some dual exhaust for my v6 but i am torn between the bassani and flowmaster. Is there any way you can post some sound clips on here for me to listen to? I would greatly appreciate any feedback or sounds. Thanks in advance :worship:
