Thumbs up

Just wondering around how many MPG you guys got on average. List the year of your 3.8 stang, auto or manual, how many MPG, and your driving style (i.e.: drive at high RPMs all the time)

'00, 5-speed, I usually change gears under 2,000 RPM

I can get about 20-21 miles on gallon

2004 Mach 1 ... I'm getting about 17-18MPG depending on the week. I never touch an interstate.

Wow Stella Rossa / Red Star, i would have thought that you would at least average 24-25 shifting at that RPM

Hmm, I have a '00 5spd 6er and get 22-27 combined city and highway, about 19-23 all city, and 28-30 all highway. What gets me is that I'm a rather, uh, spirited driver. :drive: When I take it easy I get worse gas mileage... must be a sign from God .

i probably avg. about 2mp. or so it seems. gas prices are outrageous right now. so much for the war in Iraq helping us with oil... i mean freedom(darn george w.) :bang:

but with all honesty i guess about 18 to 20mpg. cuz i do all highway anyway. travel about 45 min. a day to and from work on the turnpike. then about 30 for school. so i cant complain with all the miles i drive anyway....

The thing is I usually drive my Mustang in the downtown area because that's where my college is, and you know how busy downtown area is. Go, stop, go, stop every few seconds.
