Another tire and wheel question

I have 2000 v6.I want to stay with 15 in wheels but go to 8 in width.Sorry for being a noob on this subject but simply put will 15x8's at stock height fit in the wheel well good .I'm thinking they will.Thx in advance.stock is 205/65/15

Your gonna want some wider tires. Unless your going for that poked and stretched look (which is stupid).

yes wider tires.I just want the end result to be the same circumference ( or close) as stock for speedo puposes.

Pretty sure unless you go more than 18" your spedo should be fine as the circumference dosent change just the amount of rubber on your wheels.

You'll be fine. Width doesn't effect it, height does.

my original question is will a 15x8 wheel with stock height(circumference) tires hit the fender well in a tight turn such as parking etc...
