I was skimming through the manual today...because of two reasons:

1. How in the heck do you turn off that darn seat belt ringer...that darn thing gets annoying. If I am going to get gas 0.5 miles away from my house, I hear that darn thing about 10 times, huh :bang:

and...

2. Where in the heck is the fuse box? I looked up fuses, but it just told me what all the seperate fuses do, not where the box is located? I checked both driver and passenger side dash and it's not there, wtf?

1) the post title says it all......WEAR THE SEATBELT, even for a short drive, a drunk can still get you in 1/2 mile.

2) The fuses are to the left of the steering wheel, by the brake pedel according to the manual.

Not meaning to sound condescending about item 1, but I have seen the consequences myself of not wearing a seatbelt, and it ain't pretty.

Live with it, you might not without it. You may be confident with your driving skills but there are quite a bit of dummies out there that can't handle a tricycle, let alone a car.

Cant turn the seatbelt chime off.. it is annoying as heck though.

Your car has 2 fuse boxes. One under the hood behind the battery and the other is under the drives side dash. Probably have to lay on your back to see it. Both are covered by a black cover.

yeah, wear your belt. my parents are friends with the fire dept near them and they told us about a guy hit by a drunk driver about a mile from his house. he was thrown from the car and killed. its not worth it

I'm with these guys. What's the big deal with wearing your belt? I feel way more uncomfortable without it than with it. But that's besides the point......... It'll save your life.

You can turn beltminder off....
its annoying as heck!!!!

I don't need dings to remind to wear my belt....its a given..anytime I drive anyway. Where i Hate it..is if I'm in a parking lot or the driveway and it dings rapidly. Its in the manual.

Fuses are also under the hood as well. (2 boxes)
one inside, one under the hood

Sorry guys'...I wasn't saying that I do not wear the seatbelt...but sometimes, just to get gas, all I have to do is drive through an adult community and the station is on the corner. I never hit the real roads at all to go there. So it just gets annoying there...

And thanx for the fuses, I found the one under the hood, but I knew there had to be one inside too You guys' are the greatest!

Throwing the belt on is second nature to me. I've found myself putting it on just to back of the garage! It sounds silly, but after awhile, you don't even think about it.

Amen. Being military, we are required to wear them on base "or else" so it's just second nature for me also. I don't pull fuses anyway.

It's in the manual. I turned mine off. It doesn't beep anymore. I'll have to get the book out again and find it for you.
