Aggressive wheels

I have 17x9s cobra replica rims with 245/45/17s.

I want the aggressive look is this how you do it, front 17x9s with 275/45/17 and rear 17x10.5s with 315/35/17s????

If it were me I'd just go 255 up front. 275 seems big up front especially if you have a lowered car. I've heard they have a tendency to rub??

Hey bro. Those fronts are too narrow for a 9" rim

I have the stock 17x8 inch ponys and I have 245/45R17 on the front and they fit perfect. So on your 17x9 inch rim they will be a bit narrow. If you can go a bit wider with the same sidewall I think it would look and handle better. And you have meats on the back so I think the staggered rubber on your car would look great.

I have the 275/40/17 on the back on my 8 inch rim and they bulge slightly but look great. I really don't know what's best for a 9 inch rim bro so I can't help you. Modded mustangs forum has a sticky on tire sizes and when you are pushing your luck. Go join over there. I changed the clutch in my new edge and had never done one before with the sticky over there. They are prolly the best site on the net for stickys on how to do stuff. And the corral is the best place to get parts. I wish they had a free iPhone app

+1 on the modded mustangs stickys. Im personally not a member on there but I've visited their forum and read around a bit. They may not be as "civilized" as we are here but thy still know what theyre doing. But yea I don't know much bout the 9 inch rim but yea I would think 275's would work for fit but i don't know bout rubbing issues

275 is really the biggest you should go on a 9 in rim and 315 on a 10.5. If you are going for a staggered look the do a 17x9 front with a 255 tire and 17x10.5 with a 315 in the back and that will look pretty wicked

I'm going 275/40/17 all the way around not going for a certain look. Jus a smooth ride. At least till I save up for my 18" saleen rims then when that comes I'm buying the staggered look. But is 275/40/17 good all around???

Yea well sometimes they get a lil too carried away. Don't get me wrong sometimes I grab some popcorn and constantly refresh the page to watch the chaos unfold but most days I like the real laid back environment here
