3.8 swap with a 5.0

I got a 2003 v6 mustang, i ve been wanting to procharge it stage 2 with an aftermarket cam, headers, bbk cold air intake and a cobra or mach 1 rear end, but I also want a 5.0 in my car cause I like the bigger motors and fast motor, will a 5.0 motor fit in my 2003 body style?

It has been done quite a few times. It's a PITA but can be done. Check on sn95forums or at the corral. They're a ton of gear heds there. And why not a 351 instead of a 302. More cubes = more power

Alot of people have done it. It's as simple as pulling your motor out with k member and swapping fox k member right in with the 5.0 still mounted. You have to use the 03 suspension and bolt it up to the fox k member. If you go with a carb setup you really don't even need to do much wiring but the electrical system isn't that big of a deal if you go with the injection setup either
