Hey guys im new to this. I just bought my mustang and was wondering what could i do to make it growl. And make it faster. Prefferably the cheapest way because im in med school and money is tight. Please let me know!

 

Welcome! Jokingly I'd say slap a V8 in there. But the 4 best and most economical mods would be a tuner, exhaust, cold air intake and a set of gears.

 

Look into H-pipes if you want a deep sound, X-pipes if you want a raspier sound. I recommend Thrush mufflers for a V6. Getting the pipes turned down will reduce cost a little because you don't have to buy exhaust tips. Plus it looks better with the V6 bumper.
If you want to go really cheap you can buy a glasspack.
