2000 Mustang 3.8L Hard to Start when cold!

I just started having problems starting my car in the mornings. The starter will turn over but the engine won't crank. It usually takes about 5 or 6 tries before the car starts and a few times the car would not start at all. Once the car is started I usually don't have any problems with it for the rest of the day and it runs fine. I checked the fuel pressure at the rail and it was at 30 PSI at idle and it increased to 35 PSI at about 2500 RPM's, I also left the gauge on after shutting the engine off and the pressure remained constant at 30 PSI. I am getting spark to the spark plugs and the plugs were replaced about a year and half ago. I have one code that was stored, which was a cam shaft position sensor. I have heard that the these rarely go bad and that it was probably something else causing this sensor to throw this code. I need to get this fixed ASAP, if anybody can help with this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Starter or battery bad or weak? Mine had some trouble starting in our 9 degree weather the other morning. I could tell the fluids were pretty thick
