2 inch Blizzard
This is the most embarssed I have ever been. Alright....so I live in Indiana where there is a pretty good amount of snow..I know not compared to up north, but a pretty good piece comes through every once in a while. Well, I'm on my way to pick up my fiancee from school, and I have to go to the bathroom, so I stop at Mcdonalds. There is about 2 inches of snow in the parking lot (not a lot at all) and I had no prblems getting in, but on my way out, I had to stop and wait for traffic, right? So everything is finally clear and I hit the gas......spin city. So I spin there for a while then dejectedly get out to see how much I'm burried.....I'M NOT!!! I'm just sitting there on ice!!! No Grip!! Meanwhile, everyones honking at me cause I'm in the way and they just drive by me in their front-drive cars and give me the finger. Someone was finally nice enough to push me out of the way and I went out throught another intersection with no problems. The guy later said in a typical Indiana fashion...."Ain't that thing four wheel drive?" I kinda laughed and said, "Ahh...no....obviously." Some people are just REALLY smart.
haha, good story. About a month ago, I had to sit my wife in the drivers seat, turn off the TC and get her to spin the wheels so I could pull the car by the spoiler into the grooves that were already in the snow. It took me 15 minutes from getting in the car to getting to the end of my road (1/3 mile!!!)
I had "all weather" tires...I guess that means, "all weather except for when they don't work."

Oh yeah, it could. My winter car is 1997 Dodge Intrepid, which I got back in 2000 for $11,000. Now its worth maybe, $2,000 - $2,500. So get something similar to that. Or some older Ford or Chevy pickup. They should get a job done.
I own Mustang and I know how hard it is to drive it on the snow. This winter my friend's 1996 Mazda 626 broke down so he was using my Intrepid whole winter and I had to drive my Mustang. Worst winter ever.
