True Dual Exhaust Definition
True dual exhaust incorporates two exhaust manifolds. Each manifold has exhaust header pipes that join into a solid exhaust pipe on each bank of the vehicle. Each bank has a separate catalytic converter, muffler and in some cases a resonator. Each exhaust bank (right and left) is independent of the other, with no equalizer tube or pipe between. Each exhaust pipe has it own hanger support system and clamps.

Barely anyone calls it true duals they say it like this "true" duals. As in true true duals. The right term is divorced duals though. This is true because even though both systems are true dual exhaust one isn't like the other that's why they call it divorced duals. So far you only showed non creditable information to support your side yet couldn't come up with what divorced duals were to prove me wrong. Also look back a few posts I said both were a true dual just one had different TERMINOLOGY. That's like when you have two forms of cancer that are extremely similar you don't call it the same kind of cancer.

Not at all unwilling to learn. I'm not from Texas I'm from New York were terminology might be different. In the end I don't give a ****. Like I said both are true dual systems but only one is called true duals the other is called divorced duals. Guess they can't come up with anything to distinguish between the two different systems other then by putting " before and after dual. If you said you looked it up you didn't look it up that hard. Type in "difference between true duals and divorced duals" into google.

Honestly yes, hate having pointless fights over terminology since it's different depending on geographical locations. Though it has keep me busy to stay up late to get my sleep cycle back on track.

My thrush is 2.5 with 3 inch chrome tips on the end and it sounds great!

Do you have a mid-pipe?

Quick Reply: 2.5" or 2.25" inch exhaust?
