Anyone know if take-off wheels and tires from an 05 V6 will fit on either of the two previous generations of mustangs?

I had a 99 V6 two cars before I got my 05 V6 and the standard factory wheels were tiny 14" junk wheels with huge plastic center-caps. Would buying cheap 16" take-off wheels from an 05 V6 be a good mod idea for owners of previous stangs?

from what i understand the 94 - 04 wheels are a slight bit differant from the 2005+ wheels when it comes to being able to bolt right on

The bolt pattern is the same, but the offset is different.

I looked into this and was told that the standard 2005 V6 wheels would not fit, rubbing and all that.

That is correct. The 05 wheels are designed for 05 only...you could make it work...but it just isn't worth it, and wouldn't look that great :nono:

What exactly is the offset of the 05 V6 wheels? I've run 0 offset 15X7 wheels and 225/60/15s on my '98 before and had no clearance problems at all.
