whit smoke out tail pipe when engine warm up need help!

Hey guy I got a 91 stang gt with a 5.0 ho engine I just got it for a project car. It blew whit smoke when I got it and smelt like gas so I replaced the injectors in it cuz they were leaking and dumping to much fuel. Well that fixed the gas smell to the exhaust but now it blows white smoke during warm up than goes away after its to operating temp. In need of some help if anyone has any info for me thanks.

White smoke means there is water burning though the system. Which is most likely a blow head gasket. But if its only in the morning or warming up its ok. If its in the middle of the day or your car is already running at normal temp and white smoke comes out then its bad.

you recognized the smell of gas ok .. if it is coolant it will smell sweet .. if it is oil it will of course smell like oil .. i dont know if a 91 trans still has a shift modulator on the trans but they can leak and suck fluid into the engine which will burn white .. may be why you only have first gear as well ... missing valve guide seals will cause initial smoke on warm or cold startup ...

Its not a head gasket at least the exhaust don't smell sweet it don't really have a smell to it and its thick cloudy smoke. I have heard about the modulator but don't really know much bout it

How can you test the valve guide seals without pulling the heads off?

you have to pull the valve covers and look for missing /broken seals inside the valve springs ..

white smoke = water.
Blown head gasket, cracked heads, etc.
Now.. I have seen modulators on auto trannys cause smoke issues as well. Make sure your modulator is ok. IE, if the modulator is sucking tranny fluid instead of doing its job with vacum... it will smoke like hell. I have never had a AOD so not sure if it has a modulator.
