Went to my clubs first Track of the year. Had a really good time. Got a new PB with my car as well. Last year my PB was a 14.6 @ 96. Wasn't over joyed, but I figured it was ok for a pretty much stock, auto Mustang. Thsi year on opening day at the track here in Michigan I only got one run in and managed a 14.5 @ 95. Thought tis run was a bit better, seeing that was my first and only run. Then this past saturday I ran and consistantly ran between 14.3's and a couple 14.4's Then I tried something because I wasn't getting that much traction off the line: I let a couple lbs out of the rears in the staging lanes and proceeded to approach the line. I also tried a different shift method with the auto. I think it worked! I polished off a 14.2 @ 97!!! I think I MIGHT be able to hit a 13.99999 if I get some good DR's. Remember, this is a stock car except for exhaust and CAI. I haven't installed the SC yet, but i'm sure I can run 11's with that combo. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]

Nice run. Good to see auto GT's running what they should. At our track here it's laughable at what some of the GT's are running.

You never said what your short times were?

 

Bad *** man, where do you run at? Im from Michigan also, Heres my times back when my 88 AOD fox was all stock, 14.89 sloppy run 1st time, then a 14.52!
