Ok, I have a problem... I bought some nice chrome 14 inch rims awhile back and I put p205/75r14 tires on them. NOW my front end rubs terribly. I don't understand it, my old 83 vert had the same tires on stock rims and they were fine and they were optional in 83... Now what do I do???

where do the rub? On the fender or else where?

 

Fenders, (front of the front fenders) mostly when I turn..
Specs (from the box)
Backset/offset 3.756" * -6mm
rim size 14x7

Should I have done 14x 6's?

 

Get in there and see how bad it is rubbing, dependent on that, you can pick what size spacers you need, or buy a set of wheels with a more friendly offset.

 

is the front end too low now maybe ? or tires too wide. some height may help, we had that problem as kids with big meats on the rear so Gabriel Air shocks were cool way back the add a tad air & up or down .
