I believe they are 2.73's.

What is your car doing? Building a ton of torque up at first and taking off?

I have an AOD '93 GT with 3.55 gears in the back it and thats what it does. Usually to get the thing to pick up quick is not to floor it and moderately get down on the gas pedal. I do not know if this is normal thought becasue I bought it with the aftermarket gears in it already.

3.08s were an option, also. There should be a metal tag on your diff cover that says the ratio or there is a code on the label in your door jamb that i'm sure someone here will be able to decode it for you.

Go 3.73, you'll be glad you did.

I went with 3.55's in my 90 GT with a manual , works allot better than the 3.08's that came out .

3.73s will make that car jump off the line. Ive only riden in a car witht he 2.73s but driven a 3.73 car. They're a whole lot better. As I like to say they make second gear "the happy gear" since it pulls like a mother!

i know what u mean hotrod... like i said earlier my monte ss has 3.73 and it makes all the difference. i know its hard to compare my monte in its current state(545hp) to my mustang but even when it was stock the monte took off a whole lot quicker and had some serious gain... im going 3.73 with my fox and thats the bottom line!
